Ok, time to vote for another poll. This time, the poll time frame is quite big and it will end at the end of this year (31 Dec 2008). The question is "What Do You Think About LiveCD Version of Slackware?"
I'm curious about people's interest about bringing Slackware into LiveCD edition. This is MY OWN idea, not Patrick's, so don't mind asking him to do so
. It might inspired him to do so in the future though (even though i can't guarantee that).
So go for it and give your votes....

I think it would be perfect since Zenwalk took the lead on this a long time ago. I thing Slackware should come up with a 600Mg Live CD with WIFI + wpa supplicants. I would take the rest after that.
It would be nice also to have all the codecs available. (bonus)
We should tell Patrick about this idea. It should not be that hard for him.

I don't know yet. It's only my idea based on what happened lately that most Linux distribution has a LiveCD version used for some kind of demo.
I think it will be a good media for promotion of Slackware :)
But it's up to Pat to decide.
I think it's better to have VBox image, than liveCD.
I think a live CD of Slackware would be great. It would make it way easier to check hardware compatibility without committing to a full install.
I know we have live CDs from Vector, ZenWalk and others, but for me Slackware has more utility due to its long support life (which the other distros don't offer).
